Today I would like to share my personal experience about how to lose 10 KGs in just 10 months time, which I was fortunate in making possible with a few easy to adapt and simple steps. During the years 2007 and 2008, I gained weight after coming to a full-time job, as I could not give much of attention to my weight management and fitness. As a result, I gained weight quickly around 15 KGs in 2 years. It was alarming and I became almost 85 KGs, which makes me overweight by 15 KGs, as my height is 170 CMs. Here is the trick to the magic. I did not realize the alarming situation at first, until I got my medical check-up done prior to joining a new organization. My medical tests report stated that I had become over weight and hyper tensed. I had also developed high blood pressure and a mild liver dysfunction. Abnormal weight has many more health repercussions attached to it. Some of which include back pain, joint pain, inventiveness, etc.
These results were more than enough to draw my attention towards the required physical fitness and good health by losing weight. I decided not to ignore this issue anymore and initially I concentrated on how I would lose those 10 KGs quickly but naturally.

- Never Skip Your Meals
Skipping meals is a very bad idea and those who think it helps to lose weight should be aware about the fact that it adversely affects the natural metabolism. Instead of missing one whole meal, you should take smaller meals at regular intervals in order to help your body increase the metabolic rate and lose weight by utilizing the calories faster and better. - Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a patient and dinner like a beggarEating your breakfast is of the best things to do while following any health or fitness program. Breakfast is the most essential part of the diet as it provides energy for our entire day works. We should take about 40% of required calorie throughout the day by eating breakfast. An ideal breakfast should contain protein rich and carbohydrate rich diet along with one or two fruits. Lunch should comprise about 30% of your total daily calorie needs and it should contain fibrous diets, vegetables and cereals. Coming to the most important part of your daily intake of food, dinner should contain mainly easily digestible food and must make up for about 15% of your calorie requirements. There must be a gap of 2-3 hours between dinner and sleeping time. Rest of the 15% of the total daily calories requirement can be taken in terms of small snacks or fruits between breakfast and lunch and in between lunch and dinner.
- Replace beverages with waterBeverages like sodas, colas and coffee contain a very high amount of calories and hence should be avoided completely. If you feel thirsty, drink just water or sugar-free fresh fruit juices if you really crave for it. Remember that water is required to cleanse the system and detoxify the body.
- Walking after dinner is a mustGo for a walk on regular basis after dinner for about half an hour. Keep a minimum gap of at least 30 minutes between dinner and going on for a walk.
- Prefer Fish ProteinsFish proteins are much better than meat proteins as they are incomplete proteins and are easily observed by body without leaving the extra calories deposition.
- Drink a lot WaterDrinking water is one of the best natural ways to remove wastes from the body and keeping weight under control. You should drink at least 2-3 liters of water every day to lose weight faster. Water not only helps you lose weight, but also keeps you away from a number of illnesses.

- Meditation and YogaMeditation and Yoga are the best natural ways to lose weight faster without any side effects and without the use of medical pills. Practicing yoga and meditation on regular basis will help gradually and effectively in weight loss.
- Avoid Junk Foods and Eating OutsideJunk foods are very tempting for each one of us, but the main hitch is that they are higher in calories when compared to any other foods. Over and above these slow down the metabolism, process as well. When you are targeting weight loss, strictly avoid junk foods, be it anything from pizzas or burgers to chips or chocolates. We also tend to consume higher amount of calories during parties and eating outside in restaurants; so you should keep a check on this if you seriously want to lose weight.
